The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC), in association with PennDOT, the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and the Port Authority of Allegheny County, have initiated a multimodal corridor study for SR 885 / Second Avenue between Uptown and the Hays neighborhood. This corridor study aims to produce a 20-year shared vision and plan for multimodal access, mobility, and livability.

Get Involved!

You can participate in the Plan by:

  • Provide input on draft findings at a public meeting on Thursday, July 25, at the International Union of Operating Engineers‐Local 95.
  • Reading the Existing Conditions Report, which is now available: Report | Appendices
  • Using our interactive map to tell us how you travel in the corridor, where you would like to go but cannot, and what ideas you have for transportation improvements. Let’s Map!
  • Looking at the displays presented at the Public Meeting on February 19th and May 8th, or sending your questions or comments to spcsecondavenue@wrallp.com. Please let us know if you would like to be kept in the loop about project updates and future events.
  • Sharing this information with your friends, neighbors, and colleagues so they can learn more About the Project and participate as well.
