Public Meeting for the State Route 885/ Second Avenue Multimodal Study

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) invites you to attend an informational gathering session focused on transportation issues and needs along the State Route 885/Second Avenue corridor between the 10th Street Bridge and the interchange with State Route 837 just south of the Glenwood Bridge. The State Route 885/Second Avenue multimodal study will analyze current and future transportation and land use conditions to provide a series of recommended multimodal strategies for this growing area.

Getting to the meeting:

  • By transit: Bus routes 56, 57, or 58 stop under the bridge at the corner of Greenfield Ave/Irvine St/Second Ave/Saline St, Walk up Saline St (about 5 min.)
  • By bike:Eliza Furnace Trail to Saline Street
  • By car: limited parking is available on-street.
