Public Meeting for the State Route 885/Second Avenue Multimodal Corridor Study

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) invites you to attend the final public meeting focused on transportation needs and solutions along the State Route 885/Second Avenue corridor between the 10th Street Bridge and the interchange with State Route 837 just south of the Glenwood Bridge. This corridor study has incorporated over 500 public comments and survey responses and has analyzed current and future transportation and land use conditions to provide a series of recommended multimodal strategies for this growing area. At this meeting, we will be seeking your input on our draft findings prior to finalizing this study.

Getting to the meeting:

  • By transit: Bus routes 56, 57, or 58 stop under the bridge at the corner of Greenfield Ave/Irvine St/Second Ave/ Saline St, Walk up Saline St (about 5 min.)
  • By bike: Eliza Furnace Trail to Saline Street
  • By car: limited parking is available on-street
